Hey everyone. I wanted to take a few minutes today to talk about whether you should buy a walker or a bouncer seat. Please be sure to leave a comment below and let us know what you have and how you feel about it. Thanks!
We are less than a week away from celebrating Zoe’s first Christmas, and we are very excited! We know that this is very exciting for Zoe as well. Between the wide variety of sights, sounds, and smells she has already experienced she gets very excited. She is completely entranced with the lights on the Christmas tree, and in addition to all of that she is going to be meeting a lot of people next weekend. Some of them she’s met before, but many of them she has probably forgotten.
Another one of the biggest reasons that Christmas is so exciting this year is that Zoe is breaths away from becoming a mobile baby. She is just over six and a half months old, and very active. She has been on the verge of crawling for a a few weeks now. She hit a road block because she just can’t wrao her head around moving her hands. This is very important because I was shooting my mouth off at Thanksgiving telling everyone she’ll be crawling by Christmas. We’re almost there. Check out the video:
She is soooooo close. I can imagine it happening within the next week. I’ve got my fingers crossed.
How is your baby doing with getting mobile? Be sure to leave a comment below and let us know how old he/she is and how they are moving. If your baby has been crawling or even walking for a while. still feel free to leave a comment about your experience when they first began to crawl. I’de love to hear from some of you. Thanks.
I hope that everyone is excited about Christmas. I understand that many people are not. It can also be a very stressful time at home, especially when you’re a new parent. The thing I want everyone to remember is that this is your little baby’s first Christmas. Even if you’re having trouble and you’re stressed to the bone, set that aside and focus on your little ones.
I apologize again for not being more active here on the site. I may have bit off more than I could chew at the end of the summer. Please keep checking back here in the near future. I have some great ideas for videos, and I am looking forward to providing a lot more great content. Merry Christmas!
Hello everyone and welcome to Brave New Dads. Today I’m doing another “Products We Love” video, and we’re going to be taking a look at the Bumbo Baby Seat.
The Bumbo seat was designed to make your baby more alert and attentive by helping young children sit upright. By sitting upright the seat encourages and enables babies to be more interested in their environment, and according to the Bumbo website this has been linked to improved overall intelligence over the long term. The way the Bumbo seat accomplishes this is by creating a deeper grove for their butt, while slightly elevating their legs. It also has a back support to help them from falling backwards, but remember this product is intended for children with the ability to hold their heads upright.
I wanted to take a moment and give everyone a little update about how things are going with Zoe. I also talk about a recent blog post that I read and what I started thinking about. I also talk about how helpful working on this site has been in so far as sharing and talking about this experience. I know this video is a little long, but I can’t help it really. When I sit down to record a talking video I always have alot to say.
I hope you enjoy this video, and please leave a comment below and let me know what your think. You can also hop over to the Brave New Dads Community page. I really love reading you emails, and talking on Twitter, but I would love to open up this conversation deeper with more Dads.
